GSM “bi-directional” Gateway

is a sophisticated feature of SMSD’s GSM-Modem, it may be configured as a dedicated bi-directional continuously connected gateway to any server via a known constant IP address.

Features:

  • SMSD Modem SW is able to create an outgoing socket connection for a remote IP when required.
  • Simple tools for programming of APN related parameters, Application Server IP address / port and SW debugging
  • Plug and Play – No need to change anything on server side
  • Simple communication protocol with external control processor, TLV or custom AT commands, etc.
  • Broad application range: credit card validation, vending machines payment validation, smart metering, etc.
